I'm a Chicana lesbian radical feminist from la frontera between El Paso, Texas and Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. I've been living in L.A. since 1992, and am a founding faculty member of the Cesar Chavez Department of Chicana/o and Central American Studies at UCLA. I also have appointments in English and Gender Studies. From 2013-2019, I served as the Chair of the LGBTQ Studies Program.
